Hey gang! I would like to Share my In-car video from Saturday at Chuckwalla, Due to passenger seat, I mounted my camera a little higher than normal, Unfortunately this is the cause for the whitewash out the windscreen. The Video Starts mid way through the last turn, if you know the track you should be able to follow along :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6vekSb ... jtju_0CTxg

I have to put out a HUGE thank you to my Dad, for the opportunity and experience to drive a car like this :beerchug: Un like anything I have ever driven before! Similar in ways to the Smurf or Discount car. But with a much narrower window of "the limit". A very sharp weapon, with very little forgiveness. And It did bite me once, Just ask mark R about passing me while I was facing the wrong way on the track

For those who did not attend the event, the Car is a 2001 Cup car, with upgraded brakes and suspension, and a 3.8L Motor from a 2010 Cup car.

Thanks again Dad! I will remember this one for a long time!

Eric, That car was wicked fast. I was a little surprised to see you facing the wrong way in turn 4. Fun track, great weekend with awesome people. Here's a video of my fastest practice session right before timed runs. I apologize to all of the other drivers in this video in advance.

Erik:

Man, that car is wicked fast!

I don't think it's the camera position or angle.
Most cameras have a setting for exposure. On the GoPro, it's Average, Center, or Spot (look in the camera's manual).
Average tries to make the entire frame balanced for exposure. In a car, that usually renders the interior too dark,
and the outside washed out (like your video). If you can set it to Spot, that will expose correctly for the outside.

I finally got my video online.

I ended up only taking nine practice laps (was there Sunday only), but had a fun ride on times runs. Despite sawing
too much on the wheel, and dropping two wheels in the dirt exiting the bowl, it was a decent first lap!

My timed lap is the second video down on that page.
