When's the car going to debut?

This year I was smarter and had a fairly clean run. The 30-minute race format was a lot of fun, I know I got the car to go as fast as it was going to go and put it away.

You should be thanking me for providing you with such fine incentive!
I did notice you catching me towards the end of the session and knew I was not going to improve my times wth my failing ignition so I packed it in early.
BTW- Nice driving... and I will try to do a better job of keeping up the pace next time.

*** and probably alot lighter than the 911 3.2L AM cars too...?
"As far as a wicked 2.7L 911s, I bet Anthony DiLanzo would have placed right between Roland and Bob Ehrman. Very fast car and driver."
*** True Anthony is very fast, small detail...he is running a high strung 2.9L w. carbs (correct me if I'm wrong on this...but he's quik in any combo.
"I hate sticking up for Roland, but his motor is only a stock 95 993 motor with exhaust and chip. No magic, just a good running motor."
*** Isn't a stock non-varioram ('95) 3.6L 993 motor about 270-280 hp? in stock "from the dealer" form? ...now add that chip and exhaust...subjectively I'll add another 10hp b'tween the two and call it 280hp...that's a fair estimation.
*** If I am anywhere near being correct, that's a pretty wide H.P. spread b'tweem a stock 3.2L and a 3.6L.... 225-230 vs. 270-280hp... don't you think?...and we are all competing for the same pickle dish
"As for his total points I guess someone will have to check his tech/reg sheet next weekend. The car is very well balanced however. Good power/stick/aero package."
*** I don't question Rolands integrity and completely trust his tech/points classification. Kinda seems like a loop hole in the car classification breakdown and he is leagally taking good advantage of it. I think my next move is to do the same thing !!
Just as an aside, before this year's rule change, Roland's car would have been in HM, not AM.Steve Grosekemper wrote:But I bet I could find 10 cars at Saturdays AX that are Miss-classified due to ignorance of the new 2005 rules.
Steve Grosekemper wrote:I believe Anthony is running a (Yes highly strung) 2.7L motor with Motec Injection. But I could be wrong.
Bingo! Roland's car is not only optimized well for the class and the track, but he has a lot of experience at the Speedway now and knows how to make time there. And here's a thought totally out of left field... Maybe Roland just drove the wheels off the car?

Yes, thank you Steve!!! It was nice to chase someone, wish Jack would have stayed with us on the first lap, that would have been fun also!
