The event went very smoothly, we had fun evening gatherings, and I managed to post a personal best time in my lil red Boxster. :D I credit the Scott Mann hayride for finding those few pieces of track I still needed to polish out on Sunday.

Could we put in an order now for the same weather conditions in October? Gorgeous!

Another really great weekend thanks to Jack and Robert.
Managed to score a new track class record in CC09 with the new 2015 set-up.
Weather was really great despite a bit of wind, but nothing we couldn't deal with.

Cant wait to see event video; a bunch of drivers getting out of their cars howling about how much fun that session was means good video...

Really looking forward to Spring Mountain.

Great event. Everything just worked perfectly for me for the weekend. Great event Jack and Robert, great weather, fun student in 2015 GT3, car ran great and even the timing system worked in my favor, in car timing showed 1:53.0, official timing gave me the 1:52.9

Congratulations Jad, that's an amazing lap time. There were a lot of fast times this weekend. Jennifer and I wanted to thank you and Jim again for lending us a couple of your practice tires so we could finish Sunday.

Also congratulations to Steve on beating the CC09 lap record.

Thanks to Robert and Jack for running a great event. We are planning on making it to Spring Mountain, if we can get new tires.

Cool! I just checked and lil Red posted a new CC05 record as well as a personal best. Any time I can outrun Paul Young for a class record is like winning twice. 8)

Also special congrats to Jad Duncan for the triple win: TTOD, Top BRI, class record. Well played Jad!

So Jad...
Any words of wisdom for us mere mortals?
That was a pretty serious run.
Where do you think you made up all that time?

Thanks. I must say I was pretty happy with the time!

I think several things helped get that time:

1. Mark challenged me for the BRI
2. Hoosier R7's
3. Dwain helped adjust the shocks and car to my driving style
4. Perfect weather
5. Did I mention Rondeau challenged me? I had to really push hard and try some riskier lines and braking zones.

Bummer his tranny gave out before the showdown :banghead:

Great driving Jad!! We'll have to see what happens in the future. 1st time I haven't finished an event since 2009. :(
