Howdy to All

Some of us missed today's KK&Cars but nevertheless spent a productive day. Thanks MUCH to Bev and Tom of TC's Garage and Paul Young for patiently instructing our group of about 25 or so on the ins and outs of what a concours requires, how it might relate to our cars, and what to do when it comes to making our cars presentable; maybe even competitive. It was primarily a technical event, but provided plenty of opportunities to socialize as well. Recent Ex-Pres Jim Binford weighed in from time to time, offered both coaching and motivational insights. As he emphasized, August 22, Spanish Landing "Concours d' Elegance" will be here soon. Even if not entered to compete, please show up!! It'll be a great day, and a fun event. Did I hear something about music??!!

Productive day...thanks Bev, Tom and Paul (not to forget JimB) :beerchug:

Jim (Old Guy)

PS: Is PCA-SDR a great Chapter or what??!!

Nice post, Old Guy!

Did I hear something about volunteering? We could really use more volunteers even for an hour or two that day. Anyone attending the upcoming concours on Saturday, August 22, please consider volunteering for this fun event at an awesome venue. Our volunteers are the horsepower behind PCA-SDR!

Feel free to contact me at Volunteer@pcasdr.org if you can spar a bit of time to help out or simply offer to help while there. Thank you in advance!
