PCA SDR

Hello,
This is my first post. My a name is William "Lance" Hawkins and I live in Stuttgart, Germany, Zuffenhausen to be exact. I am about 1 kilometer from the Porsche Museum and factory. Living this close I frequently go to the museum so expect plenty of car porn pictures. I've bought my 1st Porsche in July of 2014. It's a US Spec 2005 911 C2S with 40K miles. I'm an American who has lived in Zuffenhausen for 4 years.

I'll be here for another 3 months before I move to San Diego. I look forward to being an active member in the group.

I'm frequently on Rennlist under the same user name so you may have seen some of my post there. Here is a picture of my car when I bought it last year and a new picture of it from last week.

Hi Lance - Great car! I have been to Stuttgart many times at that other factory and museum! Just joined PCA and I looking forward to having fun in my first Porsche. I am in SD too.

Hi Lance, welcome to the forum! This is a great club so you have much to look forward to once you arrive in San Diego. The club is full of friendly people and has a very active schedule of activities. Your car is beautiful and the photos remind me of my three years in Stuttgart. I moved from Stuttgart to San Diego in 2011. Do you happen to be at EUCOM? That was my last assignment before I retired from the Army. Good luck with the move and let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Hi Rick,

Yeah I'm at EUCOM. I got here at the end of 2011. This upcoming tour will be my last. Retirement....looking forward to it. I do love Stuttgart and will definitely miss it. Thanks for the offer of assistance. On the same note if you would like anything from Germany let me know I'll try and get it for you.
