Tim:

No, it's been cancelled by the Stadium Managers. It was originally intended to be on Memorial Day Holiday Monday, for us old f@rts who can't surf 3 days in a row  . But, the stadium has a big weekend planned and needs all lots.

I don't know if it will be re-scheduled.

BUMMER! I was really looking forward to that event. They are great bang for the buck. I hope we can reschedule it.

I ,too, hope it can be rescheduled. Those DE's are absolutely the best teaching events in the whole universe. :)

I changed the status on the DE page to "Cancelled".

Any other DE's on the schedule?

Thanks, Chris. I was scheduling a rental/instruction package for that DE. Glad I found out now!

My favorite SDR PCA summer event, a Q DE in the middle of summer when Big Willow is over 100 degrees. Any chance of that?

Exactly what has been on my mind....!!!!! All the major tracks are way inland...and way HOT !!! So a mid summers DE or Two at the Q is very high on my wish list !!!

The DE last summer at the Q...I think it was in July....was a 10 on a scale of 10....Let's do it again !!!!

Pleeeeze...purty Pleeeeze !!!!???

I also vote for a Q DE if we can get a new date. No fuss getting to the track, great weather and it is a great step up for autocrossers.

Heck, I'd even volunteer to get a barbeque going after for some eats in addition to the usual libations and celebrations or excuse making.

Plus - I suspect it might serve as the unveiling of the new monster RSR Gagenmobile.

Well guy, I'm all for a mid-summer QDE simmer at the Q. I'd rather cook tires at the Q during the day, and have grilled chicken on the Bar-B at the end of day, than roast my brain-bucket at Willow in July.

I'd recommend a note to the guys at ax@pcasdr.org regarding your interests. Perhaps with enough interest, a re-scheduling can happen. :) (Just remember, the Autocrossers really like their accumulated season-points. So sacrificing a points event for a QDE might be a challange for the AX crew. )

I'll definitely support a Summer QDE, and Pete, I'm in for Pollo Asada on the grill, if you're taking orders!

We do have a QDE May 1st. And don't forget the ax on the 30th.

I had a blast at the DE last July. I'm planning on the May 1st one too. I would love to do another mid summer one. I don't do desert events in the summertime.

I agree Curt... just too hot in the summer to really have an active track program in place...and I have a cool shirt....call me a wimp I guess...

Based on the success of last summers DE, my bet would be that this year it would rate as "the place to be"..... :)
