This was my first TT with SDR (after doing Speed Ventures, NASA, and PCA Zone 2 in previous years) and it was far and away the best track event I've been to. It was run like clockwork (but in a friendly manner) and I racked up over 150 track miles in two days. Next time I'll be camping at the track :beerchug:

Also, a big thank you to everyone who helped me find an extra quart of oil Sunday morning!

Nice pictures, Greg.

It was a very good weekend. Tons of track time. Very few minutes of track down-time due to offs or mechanical issues on track. So, great driving, everyone!

A little on the hot side, but still bearable. G*d bless the cool suit!

Extremely well run event considering the huge number of participants. Well done, Robert/Jack! Can't wait for BW!

+1 on the event, Jad's driving and Cupcake's semi triumphant return to the track. That's a nice car Adam.

I'm not saying those Bridgestone's are good tires. They may not work for everybody. I just think they're good for a car with a specific set up. A lightly modified silver 911, yeah, that's the one.

I think we should all run the same tires and run in CC07. Come on in, the waters fine. I'll even buy you a beer.

CVR was my 2nd track event, SMR a few months ago was my first and all I can say is IT WAS A BLAST!
Mucho thanks to Jack and Robert as well as Ralph for being my instructor. I was lucky to have another great instructor and us midies need to stick together
Special thanks to Dan C for the E ticket ride in his car. You are one crazy SOB! It had a much better ending than the special ride I had at SMR (if ya know what I mean)

See you all at Buttonwillow

Mark, I would run the Bridgestones and join you in CC07, but I think someone would protest :beerchug: 2:02 in a cc07 "street" car is impressive no matter what tires you have.

Of course, you could make the Bullet into a bullet and join me in CC12

I'd have to put in a 3.8 just to get up to CC12. Still wouldn't be able to compete with you. :banghead: We'd need to meet in the middle somewhere in a spec type car. Maybe Ralph's Boxster?

Great weekend of driving and hanging with good friends! It felt so good to shake the rust off and finally get back behind the wheel. I accomplished all my goals for the weekend which was great. Drive to the track, get into the 2:04s, not have any major mechanical issues and drive home again. Thanks for all the great pictures, Greg. And, thanks to Mark for showing us all that it's possible to almost go through a set of 200tw tires in a weekend. He really did drive the tires off that # "1" car, great driving as usual.
