A few laps from sessions 2,3, and 5 (including running in the rain in session 2):

The weather was really a mixed bag, with sessions in the rain, damp track with puddles, and occasionally dry-ish. I ended-up only running on street tires the first two days...

Nice videos. I like Russell splitting MacDuff and I on the back straight. I was working those poor RE71's and left some nice black streaks in turn 4 as they were starting to go off. Hope I can get some video posted before Willow.

Set my fastest time of the weekend chasing Dan H. in his 3.8L Cayman. Still lifted in 1, as I was waiting for timed runs to "run flat out":

Here's my fastest lap of the weekend. Was waiting for timed runs with fresh tires to push harder through the playground.

I thought Dan's Cayman was a 2.9??? Did he have a 3.8 transplant done, or is my humor detector not functioning correctly here?

Ah, I see. So with fresh tires you only need 90-degree oversteer corrections Instead of the usual, full 180-degree, crossed-arm steering inputs? :D
Loose is fast in a 911, and a 1:55 is a very good time in that car, Mark.

Dave's Cayman is a white '09 2.9L (with increasing mods to the suspension). His brother Dan just got a dark blue '08 Cayman S from Vision with a 3.8L 997 S motor shoehorned into it. It came with a pretty "tracky" suspension too...

Too bad the brakes were suspect. Look for my future video of Dan flying by.

Tom, Thanks! The car felt great and I was happy with the time. I was just hoping to go flat out through the playground and I would have tried with new stickers. I think that could have gotten me down to a 1:54.xx. Looking forward to Willow this weekend. Steve fixed a couple of suspension issues after CFOS and I should be able to shave some more time off.

OK, missed that--Dan, Dave, they both start with "D"....
I guess there's not much question which one is faster anymore?
