I would like to congratulate our new SDR Rally Committee for the wildly successful first organized rally they staged this past Sunday! A total of 39 cars participated in this picture rally through the back roads of east San Diego County which culminated with lunch at BJ's Brewpub in Escondido where the scores were tallied and winners recognized with announcements and certificates of merit. It was met with rave reviews.
It was wonderful to see so many come together for the success of this event including Craig Fenstermaker, our new committee chair; Eric Marc-Aurele; Dennis Dyer; and other committee members (you know who you are, sorry but I don't); the committee mentors, Tom Gould and Paul Young, Sr.; as well as Bev Gould and Krischelle Marc-Aurele! Planning for the next gimmick rally is already in the works!
Congratulations again and thank you all for your time and effort! Everyone had a fabulous times You guys rock!
