With the recent ruling by Zone 8 to the effect that Snell 2005 helmets in good condition may now be used until 2017 due to helmet supplier issues, I am wondering if SDR is going to follow suit?

At this evening's board (bored...haha) meeting it was decided to endorse Zone 8's ruling on helmets, so your Snell 2005 helmets in good condition are good until 2017.
I'm happy with this rule as my super lightweight Zamp carbon fiber helmet is in perfect shape and I didn't really want to make a planter out of it.

Is there any additional feedback on this issue?
Just want to confirm that SA2005 helmets are good to go through 31 December 2016.

Yes, Craig, in tech inspection we are accepting 2005 Snell-rated helmets through the end of this year.
