WSIR Video's

Postby Batman on Mon May 02, 2016 9:49 pm

Ok I will be first because I have a new camera.
I want to start out by thanking Robert Baizer and Greg Phillips for managing another great track event.

I also want to thank the other CC12 drivers in the CR and those at COTA for opening up a spot for me on the CC12 podium.
I drove the Discount Tire car 12:68 seconds faster than my last time at WSIR. My best improvement at any track.
We had a great time Saturday night hanging out with everyone. Thanks for stopping by the tent for drinks and bench racing.

Here are my timed runs with my fancy Smarty Cam HD. It looks much better on my Mac.

I almost forgot I want to thank Mark Rondeau for showing me parts of the track I didn't know you could drive on.
At the end of the video I realized sometimes following the Rabbit is not so good.
Attention all PDS instructors thanks for the accident avoidance exercise.

Well like I said what a great time and what a great club.

Bruce - you are really pedaling that cart.

Here's another "Rondeau sighting". Not really chasing/following, more like driving around with him off in the distance:

Thanks to the organizers and volunteers for a great weekend. And a special shout out to Bruce & Cindy et al for the Saturday night hospitality. :beerchug:

Bruce, I can't get the google links to work. Either you have to make them publicly viewable, or use the "Share" link, not a cut/paste from the browser. Since your browser is logged in as you, it won't work for the rest of us.

Youtube has a great sense of humor....the video it rolls following your "Rondeau Rabbit" video is:
How to butcher rabbit-How to debone a Rabbit-Rabbit Butchering-Deboning a rabbit-How to Cut a Rabbit
:roflmao:

Thanks to all who make these events roll seamlessly...truly amazing! And a special thanks for the accommodations & hospitality from the Wings! Proving once again:

Hey Shawn nice smooth line. I had a blast trying to keep up with all the GT3's that were out there with us.

Keith, I went into Google and changed the settings I hope I fixed the videos.

Let me know if I need to change the link or just take it down from this forum.

Looks like a fun weekend.
Except the near miss in the middle of T6.
Since it's not a race, I would of lifted and let the silver car come to a stop. 8)
It's been years since I've done a PCA track day, mb see you next time.

Great weekend of racing and weather conditions. Thanks to Greg Phillips for the club racing side of the organization and great photos. Thanks to Chuck Sharp for his mentorship of Isabella and Steve Grosekemper for helping her on understanding suspension set up on these cars. :burnout:

Absolutely entertaining from start to finish with good hard racing on track and mutual respect off track. Here are highlights from Club Race #2 from Sunday morning (don't ask why I decided to start with race 2). Highlights of CR1 & 3 at some point. Camera is on top of car and there's a lot of wind noise, but very entertaining!

Well, maybe I'm paying it forward by posting my video, since I learned a lot from studying videos from Jad, Erik K., Steve G., and Mark R. for previous WSIR weekends.

Here's my fastest timed lap, which was also my PB:
