Charles, the older 911's are a Blast! Very rewarding when you get it right :D

Ok, so in Practice on my RE-11's, I only got one clean lap with no passenger, driving about 8/10ths did a 1:19.5, I feel I could have maybe shaved another .5 to 1.0 second of time off that 1:19.5, From my experience running the RE-11's and RE-71's back to back several times now, is that the RE-71's are roughly 1.5 - 2.0 seconds quicker.

Great autocross! Just when I think I'm getting better, I see Erik's driving and realize how far I am! That said, I'm enjoying every second of it. Looking forward to next month!

All - AX results are now posted. Sorry for the delay. Seems as though more training of more people is needed. We will work on it.

Thanks for a more open, faster, and more challenging course. It was a great event and extremely satisfying to prove all the work for the last 3 years has begun to pay off. This project started at Vista high school where I teach and am fortunate that the auto teacher is highly skilled and was there to help with the heavy lifting. It was always my goal to prove that an old 944 (with some added horsepower) could still be competitive. A fourth place finish against all Porsche's has proved that all the work was worth it. I am working my last nine days and will soon have the time to become active at your track events. Thanks again for all the effort by those who made the weekend possible. Looking forward to the next one in June and will see many of you tomorrow at Irvine.

Good job. Especially nice considering that the BRI results seem to indicate that this wasn't particularly a power course -- most of the top 20 BRI cars were toward the lower end of the power spectrum.
