Nice photos. Thanks!

I want to mention that Victoria, as always, was totally looking after us. After C&C a group of us took off via caravan to visit the Ballast Point Brewery. WOW!! They have a huge, impressive - almost garish - location. Are those huge grain silos?? We found a long table that would seat us all, ordered some food and generally had a great time. Thereafter, most of us drove to a nearby shop stall whereat one of our brethren (see one of the green early 911 mod cars in the photo series) is operating an interesting car-related business: Cryo Werks, Inc. What he does is to use little dry ice pellets fired with high pressure to clean things like car parts. No damage ala sand-blasting or chemical treatments. Environmentally friendly; good results from what we could see. I plan to let him clean up many of the underside and fenderwell parts of our '85 Carrera. I think I'm OK to give the contact info (http://www.cryo-werks.com, email to: contact@cryo-werks.com or call 619-993-2425) without violating some forum rule. Very interesting technology. Very.

Hint: do NOT hold one of those little dry ice pellets between your fingers or on your hand for more than a few seconds. Longer? Feel the pain. They are COLD!!

Jim is right. It was a really cool day. Cars and Cigars is really underrated, but every time it's happened it's been a lot of fun. I'm thinking of using Cryowerks on two of my cars! Very cool concept.
