I've heard about the Miramar landfill project, too. That would be a true San Diego track. The noise couldn't be complained about with the F/A-18's overhead. The problem is the unstable land over the fill site. Just look at highway 52. Whoop dee doos for a mile or so.
We'll see.

Recent news in Lake Elsinore has the city fathers trying to okay a housing subdivision in the flood plain where the current airpark / skydiving facility is. If that happens, I doubt you would ever see a race track facility and the airpark would be gone and most like the MX track as well. Seems as though they finally came to some agreement about keeping the lakes level up, and RE prices have skyrocketed around the lake. A developer fromNewport Beach has plans for condos, yacht harbor, etc. Racetrack? In our dreams!
