While the HPDS was going on at the Stadium, a small group from the PCA/SDR made an excellent showing at Fontana. I'd like to congratulate Kary on an excellent 1:51 in the TT. I believe that was 1st place among the non-race Class cars.

Thanks John! It was a fun event even though we had a large highly mixed run group with newbie's in it.

John, you want to see if Baron will instruct you and me and another guy at our PCA Buttonwillow event?

I really don't think people should get trophies when they were the only ones in the class!

I HAD you and you know it! Some day I'll get this power steering problem solved and then all you'll be seeing is my big silver rear end! :D

I agree. Jae is THE man. He stayed late Sat. to help find the point of failure in my power steering AGAIN! And then patch it so I could finish out the weekend.

That's a great picture, Jim. I see you were modest and only had one of your trophies showing. You got two of those, right?
Major congrats. And give that man a box of Macanudos!!!!
I was hoping Kary or someone would compile a list of the accomplishments of our SDR Band of Brothers (and sisters, too, MJ!). I think as a group we kicked a little booty!!!

Remember...you can't win if you don't finish :D

Man, that was such a great time! 2 wide thru the chicane
We do it just like the big guys!

John needs to get his tracker built so I have someone else to run with!

Jim,
6 more weeks!!!!
I took some pics last night of the chassis after it came back from the powdercoater. Can I insert an image here from my hard drive or does it have to first be posted on a WEB site somewhere?

Looks clean as can be John, please do continue with the photo updates on the progress.
SDR PCA's newest AM car in the works.
No Doubt it will be Speed Yellow on the track. :D

I'd like to see some photos of Dave M's MOM car in progress too.

I've shared my project here before.

Jim Copp in the Polka Dot! Great drive Jim, hard earned and well deserved. That track car has served you and your brother well.
In the last 3 years how many track miles have you and your brother put on that winner?

Agree, Jae's endless effort and expertise are a combination rarely shared so freely during race weekends

Having Doug Baron instruct sounds like a good idea to me.

John, your car, looks, well, it just looks naked. Can't wait to see you get it out on the track. If it goes too fast, I'll just have to turn the boost up a bit more. I need a little sign like Doug Barons car above the boost control, it say "mo fasta". You guys did a great job this weekend. Congradulations!!! The grid job sucks, my feet still hurt!

Mike VZ,
It was nice to see U (and your better half) out there even though your baby is disabled!!
Thanks for tapping on my roof in the starting grid --I was falling asleep in the heat!!
I was thinking, if our cars ever make contact in the future (my new car and yours), we won't need to worry about paint not matching, eh?
I've contacted Doug about a date.
