Trailer Sharing -- pay for use?

Postby jgunn on Thu Oct 27, 2016 12:18 pm

Would anyone have an open trailer that I could rent for a few days? I would like to tow my car up to Buttonwillow on Nov. 5th, returning November 7th.

This is the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday the week before the PCA ButtonWillow TT/DE.

Would be willing to pay $250 (or whatever you think is fair). Have Electric brake controller on my F150, lots of hitches, etc. Looking to get an RV and trailer in the New Year.

Thanks -- James Gunn-Wilkinson

Of course -- I have used Uhaul before. I think the Viper might be a little hard to get on their trailer. But I will use them if nobody has an alternative...

I have had several trailers, enclosed trailers, etc. in the past. Maybe I will just go grab an Aluma trailer next week...

Try Lewis Wise (Lewis Wise (lewis.wise27 gmail) and see if his trailer is available

If you use Lewis' trailer, make sure you return it in perfect condition. I need it the following week.

Call Ed Muscat at eight five eight 414 1301. He has open and enclosed trailers he rents to racers from time to time. The open trailers have long ramps, winches, tire racks, etc and are much better than uhaul.

Ed's got a nice aluminum flatbed trailer outfitted for racing he keeps threatening to sell too, so definitely give him a call before you buy a new one.
