Thanks for posting that John. I was surprized to see that I was 8th overall out of all the time trial cars! Wow! There were some very fast cars out there......

Kary,
Why would you compare your time to that of a race class car. Excluding the race classes, you came in 1st, no?
Of course, with all the changes you've made to your car (and the slicks you're running), you now have a track car in street clothing  whereas, I have a stock street car (with no ABS when I put the Kumhos on!!!).
You didn't even say anything about your beating me by only a fraction of a second!!!
Next time, you're mine!!!!!!!! :D

Good job guys. Maybe all of the PCA guys that placed well should send a copy of their results to Dan Davis.

I was sure impressed by the Orange group racer that felt he had to boost his ego by passing my lunch time track drive group around turn 2.

Take a look at Bill Hartsock's times. Last few times, he has beaten me by about 0.10, very consistently. How do you beat someone cosistently by such a small fraction? You guys could form a "Beat the Old Guy by a Fraction Club"!!
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incidently, I have my new coach lined up for BW on June 3 (seriously). "I" hired him!!! You'll have to speak to me about whether you can participate!!! You can start begging now!!

Uh, John,

You're pretty confident for I guy who was going to "kick my ***".

You had better concentrate on getting by Hartsock in that other water machine before you come after the air-cooled, under powered 993s. I'm sure Kary would trade you his slicks for the 100 extra hp you have on board.

Any way talk is cheap. Too bad this hobby isn't.

Kary, Aubrey, and John,

It was an absolute pleasure to chase you guys around the track all weekend. I enjoyed trying to emulate your lines and breaking points, and trying to keep up. I learned a lot!

Looking forward to Buttonwillow....

Hey Aubrey,

I hope you're not taking the "kick your a#*" smack talk seriously. You had a great run. Congrats, and sorry I didn't say so before.
Now, having said that, I would like to borrow either yours or Kary's slicks for the next TT (and then, I'll really kick........)  (just kidding!)
Hope to see U at Buttonwillow or Phoenix.
JP :)

John,

If you hired Doug for a coach, you better ask him if he can teach an old dog new tricks, and if he charges more to do it! In your case, that might be major bucks! Ha ha! Just kidding.

Personally, it was a pain in the a-- having to watch you guys having fun dodging all the newbies while I was working my butt off on the grid!

I thought Hartsock was going to pull off a major coup there for awhile. He had a good start, I think he was watching his rearview mirror too much!

Maybe I should buy Flipper!

Great time at Fontana!!! My first time at CA Speedway and what an event.....I love all you Zone 8 guys, and I hope I am welcome back after jamming my poor little sewing machine powered M3 into the lineup  .... Oh well, I'll have to bring out the heavy artillery next time......

Dave B....Thanks for the BBQ.......

Evan...Great hanging with you....

You guys got it made out there in the land of cars and big tracks.

Sincerely,

Junior

No problem John,

I do plan on going to Phoenix.

Not sure about Buttonwillow. Have to decide between that and Big Willow the next week.

Enjoyed the weekend even if the run groups were abit hectic.

See you at Phoenix?
