I finally had time to download some video from the event. Here's my favorite session of the weekend. Sunday morning playing with Bill, Steve, Ethan, Chris and Jae. Watch to the end to see how not to take Phil Hill.

That could have been ugly...

What happened, everything looked good until it was very bad. Brakes fade? Missed pedal on heel toe?

Tried to go a little deeper and put the left side tires on the gator. Oops!

Woo Hoo! Mr Toad/Mark, thanks for the wild ride! And also another perspective.
One thing I noticed, you definitely did not miss a shift going over the hill......you keep it 4th the entire time with decent RPM's. Are you left foot braking?
Are you running stock gears? Very informative.
Appreciate you letting us ride along. :beerchug:

Dan, Stock 915 transmission. No need to shift going over the hill. I stay in 4th from before Club Corner all the way to the braking zone for the Sweeper. The less shifting you do with a 915, the better. :D

Classic Rondeau driving:
"Wearing" the Gators
Crawling up the backside of drivers in the Bus Stop
Flat-out through sections that make other drivers pucker
Teaching drivers in higher classes what a CC08 car can really do
Finding "a new line" over Phil Hill :burnout:

Very entertaining, Mark.
