Help! Stolen 930 Turbo

Postby ChuckS on Tue Dec 20, 2016 7:24 pm

Trying to get the word out to help a Porsche owner!

For more information please call either
John Chambers 760-214-1825
Or Sherri - number at end
Or SD Police - number and file below

Thank you so much for helping put the word out on my Precious 930!!! I have added a few more pictures which show “unique” features of the 930, including One with engine upgrades, K27 Turbo, waste gate, suspension, exhaust, ANDIAL Turbo Boost Gage, and engine with disconnected hosing/wires for prior turbo boost system (manual adjustment device still sits above the air conditioning dash unit), and disabled Clifford Alarm System (the red button for Clifford is just “resting in the dash”). I hope all this additional information and these pictures help. DRTY sure was unique!!!

Best Regards - Sherri

LIC: DRTY930 (CA)
Color: Black
Stolen From: 12000 block of Via Felino, Del Mar
Date of Theft: 12/14/2016
Reporting Agency and their Case #: San Diego PD CI # 16306282T
Reporting Agency Contact Number: (619) 531-2000
Additional Information: This Porsche has had recent engine upgrades (see picture above), turbo waste gate is point straight down to pavement not to back of exhaust muffler, and the rims are BBS. There is an additional rear brake light not normally observed on these 1987’s as most owners reportedly did not like the look. The rear-view mirror is oval in shape, the standard had been shaped more square. There is a small paint bubble below the gas tank door, adjacent to the left front driver’s side fender. The clock on dash has been replaced with an ANDIAL Turbo Boost Gage (see pictures). The original Clifford Alarm System and earlier Turbo Boost system has been recently disabled (see picture above of remaining engine hoses/wires). The rear back-seats were in the lowered position, with the TURBO stenciling faded. There is no license plate on the front of the vehicle.
