Hard to see the autocross layout here...

Have to say the proposed plan looks pretty great, but doesn't seem they've calculated motor sports into their mixed-use development plan...

FWIW, it sounds like the time window is sometime between 2018 (current SDSU, etc commitments) and 2020, when proposed plan calls for completion of the soccer stadium (lot of assumptions in that date).

In the video, the planner mentions that it's the largest parking lot west of the Mississippi... like that's a bad thing?!? Let's enjoy it while we can ;-)

The autocross tracks will have to change to more of a Grand Prix of Long Beach style street course. We can pit in the cinema parking lot, zig-zag through the retail areas, go south of the NFL stadium and finish by blasting past the residential area, people will love it! :D

Is there anyone to petition besides the Mayor and City Council? I don't know that there's enough of us to keep things as they are, but it can't hurt to write a few letters.

The nice paved paths to the riverside shanty town are only there to pander to the homeless addict lobby.
