Interesting thread on Rennlist about the new cars safety features providing automated braking when cars are too close or closing too fast.

In Porsche it is PAS (Porsche Active Safe)

It has not been brought up yet to instructors but could be an issue at the track, especially in passing situations when sudden automated braking in the middle of a train of cars could cause problems.
May be fine on the street but not a good idea at the track :surr:

The nannies are coming for our fun one component at a time :surr:

New cars are getting to be like fighter jets, so fast a human can't control them, so the computer really does almost everything while you sit there.
