Loved the festival of Speed

Great event. Lots going on. Vendor row was awesome, loved all the Porsche flags, GOOD food trucks, saw many old PCA and POC friends.
.....the "paint to sample" new Porsches from the Riverside dealership were beautiful.
Some really exciting racing in the 944 Spec class. Evenly matched cars make for great close racing. Too often, a race can turn into a boring time trial as the cars get spread out more and more. Not much fun to watch when you're expecting a RACE. This last weekend there were two distinct groups of 3 cars, and each group of three 944's were busy. Lots of lead changes. A lot of fun to watch. :D
Special congrats to Greg Phillips for completing not only his first wheel to wheel races, but getting on the podium out of 6 cars in the 944 Spec class. Welcome to "The Show" , Greg!
Make sure you attend this event next year. There was something for everyone. I even got some parts at the swap meet!

Ok that was fun, and much needed. Hung out with friends Thurs, garage band jam Fri, had 2 students who both paid attention and showed lots of improvement, and even shaved another second out there posting a personal best time in my 2.9L slush-o-matic. A worthy use of a long weekend!

Hat tip to our 944 warriors Greg and Isabella, and I hope friends who went home with broken cars get them well-sorted for the next TT event in May. Party in the pits for certain! :beerchug:
