Krispy Kreme & Cars- not Krispy Kreme Tuesdays

Postby Greg Phillips on Thu Jul 27, 2017 1:17 pm

It now makes some sense why we were asked not to have our Krispy Kreme get-togethers any more. :surr:

Another group, the Krispy Kreme Tuesdays San Diego were in the news after their burnouts and "donuts" and street racing. :banghead:

Hah, our group wasn't anything close to that mess! No fireworks, no street racing, no noise... just some mellow folks eating donuts, chatting.

What a shame the PCASDR Donut Day (as my two kids affectionately called it) is no longer. For years, my 2 kids would wake up on weekends, hoping this morning was the special "donut day". After eating their donuts, they went around taking interesting pics with old busted iPhones to share when we got home. :(

Bummer - krispy kreme was my first PCA gathering. Oddly enough, I moved right near there several months later. I can go chat w/ the folks/center management to see if they would let us come back (would be cool w/ me, as a frequent patron hah!).

What say you?

Anyone who had any contact w/ the management there, let me know who it was and I'll see what I can do if we want to move fwd regaining the meet.
