BW 1st lap Club Race Video

Postby SDGT3 on Mon Nov 13, 2017 11:55 am

So sorry I couldn't be there this weekend due to the flu, but HUGE thanks to the the PCA family, Black Forest crew and specifically Steve Grosekemper for getting John Rickard's car ready for Isabella to race. Thanks to Dave Quenel for being on the pit box for the enduro and helping with everything. IT really does take a village...

Here's a clip of the crazy 1st lap action of the sprint race on Saturday.

I was at the same track but my experience is quite different. Most impressive. Great driving.

We missed you out there Peter, and I hope that watching Bella fly through all the dark clouds on the first lap didn't make you sick again. Bella seems to have this driving thing down regardless of if you are there or not.

I owe her some data analysis (not much learning as I only had my data to compare to and she already brakes less, is on the gas sooner, and is going faster just about everywhere, but I will have 1-2 tidbits). Perhaps Santa will bring her a Solo or some data logger next month? As hard as it might be to believe- she could be even faster.

Black Forest is incredible! Thanks John, Steve, and I guess even DQ if you say so- for helping us get to watch Bella race! :beerchug:

That's great driving. Isabella, you "owned" quite a few cars at Offramp and Riverside. Really great driving. Sorry the clutch went out for the final race. :surr: I hear you drove the final race in 3rd gear the whole way. Awesome.
