Thanks for everything you've done.
All the events (and their associated registrations) that I attended were "super"!

Cheers

Craig

So sorry to hear - I have never participated in a better run series of events in any activity that I have been involved in.

Very well done, gentlemen.

Phil

So.....I'm puzzled. Puzzled because the subject of Craig's post is in the form of a question. Is this a case of Twain-ism? IE "the rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated". Or is this the way the announcement of one of the most labor and love intensive Chairmanships comes to an end? It is sad, if indeed true. Even more sad that these dedicated fine Gentlemen (Robert and Jack) are sent off with a dear John letter (or post).
What is the truth?

Yes, Jack and Robert have stepped down as the Time Trial/DE chairs. :surr:

They notified the board in July.

They will be a tough act to follow, and it is taking a village to replace them.

I am working as the chair and Cathy Young is helping with registration with Mark Rondeau. Ricardo Olimon and Vihn Ly along with Chuck Sharp are helping with timing.
Jad Duncan, Dan Chambers and Mark Rondeau will be the CDI's with Bill Behun and Mark Curran handling the DE duties.

Jack and Robert are still involved and helping out with the transition and hopefully Robert will have a new track car and RV soon.

Greg

Hat tip to Robert and Jack who set the PCA standard for event organization and management. Always fun, always safe, and as efficiently run as the German train system. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done! :beerchug:

Additional cudos for the really fun after hours trackside blues jam sessions.

Yes, a huge 'Thank You" to Jack and Robert for developing one of the best ... if not THE best big track program in the whole of the PCA program. Theirs was a national reputation that draws participants from throughtout the country.

As one of the transition team members, I'm honored to be a part of the hand-off. Greg has proven his mettle as past Chair, President, Club Race Organizer, etc., etc., etc. He's a great leader and working with him and the transition team is always a pleasure.

Speaking of working with the team, I just want to remind everyone that during the transition it will take cooperation, coordination, and understanding to make the next few events seemless and effortless for the entire team. It takes a village to raise a great program so let us all pull together and make the next few events fun and smooth. The less drama, the more track time and good times to be had.

Thank you Robert, and Jack. You will be missed.

P.S.: wanted; Drummer and bass player. Must be flexible and have a deep understanding of Blues and 60's, 70's and 80's rock. See David Hockett or me for details.

I can vouch for that-- when we went to Laguna Seca in July 2018 with PCAGGR, we were the best-represented region other than the host region, and they sent around an email after the run group assignments were posted because people from GGR were whining about not being in their usual run group! The organizer said, to paraphrase, that the sold-out event was drawing drivers from all around the country, and although you might be in the fastest run group for GGR, there were many faster drivers from other areas participating, so don't call me if you got bumped to a different group. LOL!!! :roflmao:
