Tire Shops

Postby Tony_Ivetac on Mon Oct 15, 2018 10:02 am

Hi there. I was wondering if you could recommend tire shops in the SD area, please? I've typically gone to Discount Tire in the past, but the last couple of times the wheels have not been balanced well and I've had to go back. Wondering if there is somewhere else to consider? New wheels too, so want someone careful! Thanks.

Hi.
If you're a bit more specific about your location, you'll probably get better feedback.

Cheers

Tire rack usually has good pricing and they have a slew of installation shops that have special pricing. One of them is the Firestone store in vista which does road force balancing and last time I got tires from tire rack it was $15 per wheel for mounting and balancing.

Costco has good deals

Firestone will also price match Tire Rack and Costco

A few people in the club go to San Diego Tire and Wheel on Convoy. Ask for George. Tell him Hassan, Andrew, or Keith sent you and you are part of PCA.
