ISO: Body Shop recommendations for 911 panel painting?

Greetings all,

I am preparing to re-delete a rear spoiler from my '87 911 coupe that originally came as a spoiler delete wide body, but... ended up sprouting a rear spoiler at some point in the ensuing thirty years (prior to my ownership)...

As such, I've acquired a pre-owned, smooth / no holes, decklid that will need to be stripped, have a few dents tended to and painted Gemini Metallic. Additionally, I would like to have a front bumper, front valence, rear valence and headlight trim rings all painted at the same time. The car itself is a repaint, so while it isn't a #1 concours example, the current paint does present rather nicely. I would like to have a high quality job done, but I don't need concours. CPR painted a decklid + spoiler base for my other M491 and while the work was excellent, it was costly and I'd like to find a shop closer to me / i.e. the greater San Diego or North County area (I live in Carlsbad / Encinitas and work in UTC / La Jolla). I know that color matching metallic colors is tricky and I would like to avoid blending the paint into adjacent panels if possible, so a shop that's well versed in color matching would be a bonus.

So, any recommendations for shops that you trust to panel paint a few pieces of a beloved 911?

Thanks for indulging me and helping feed the addiction!

Best,

Hey Frank,

You might check out Malibu Paint and Body on Raytheon:

Greg did the front bumper on the black car for me, and I think he did a good job at a fair price.

I didn't realize the coupe was a M470 option car too?
