More video to take up your driving down time. Great track to race on. Frank and I started DFL. He blows my doors off at the start. We see him later and get to wave Aloha!

Nicely done, Dan.

You were just gobbling people up in The Boot.

Those blue bushes bring back some (good?) memories for me. Thanks for sharing.

Ryan: blue bushes! Great description. Those bushes definitely took out quite a few cars (as I'm sure you know).

Erik: car is really balanced and the braking is on point. Super fun to drive. That track is interesting because of the crown in the pavement, which results in different camber on each side.....

Thanks for the shout out Guys!

Dan, Great Driving!!!
Having driven the Glen, I can appreciate how well you drove it. I can imagine how well you would have done if you didn't have to start DFL.
Congrats!!!

Chuck,
good to hear from you. One thing that really amazed me was how good the track surface was. Smooth, even and consistent. Given the extreme weather upstate NY sees, I was impressed. Makes me wonder about the underlying substrate.....granite? Watkins made WSIR look like a bad country road!

Dan, it wasn't always that good. It was repaved, thanks to the Nascar money, around 2 or 3 years ago. Big Difference.
When I drove it, they had even added concrete to the apex area of the boot as the nascar cars had actually rippled the asphalt.
I loved the track, but also did not like the "Blue Bushes" that somehow were right where you wanted to track out, expecially the left at the very top of the boot.
Glad you enjoyed it.
