Congratulations to Walter Vazquez for TTOD at Streets with a blistering 1:19.09 to nip Rich Gildersleeve in CC17. :burnout:
Three of the Top Ten were from CC10 with Vinh Ly quickest at 1:24.36 to nip Steve Grosekemper and Terry Barnum who tied at 1:25.46. :beerchug:
They were all beaten however by Murray Wunderlys 2006 Boxster S in CC09 who was third overall and first in BRI with a 1:22.81! :surr:

Thanks for the photos Greg!

More importantly, thanks for all the hard work to you, SG, Mark, Ralph, Cathy and everyone else that makes these weekends happen. Most of us know how many hours you all put in to make this event so enjoyed by all.

Vinh. Wow. He was on it all weekend

That was a great, fun weekend at the track, that was *really* well managed by the whole team of volunteers.

I know we all appreciate the effort, attention and time you all put into making our time safe, fast and fun!

New setup/tires on the GT3 was a blast to come to grips with (literally)... looking forward to the next event

Just saw this. Apparently one of the classes running over at Big Willow last weekend while we were at Streets was a newish Spec Corvette class.

https://www.windingroad.com/articles/blogs/video-spec-corvette-lap-record-broken-at-willow-springs/?utm_source=Winding+Road+Weekly+Email+List&utm_campaign=c4af529d37-WR_Racing_News_05_08_2019_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f40212f51a-c4af529d37-58360241&mc_cid=c4af529d37&mc_eid=c2f62da202

Someone there set a new lap record of 1:30:83 for the class (Video in link above.

If you pause the Spec Vette video when they're heading down turn 8 you can see us all parked on the left.

Speaking of records, not only did our own Murray clinch BRI but he also set a new class record! Whose record did he break? His own from last year. :beerchug:

Thanks to everyone for such a fun, safe and well run weekend!
