Damn, a legend passes. One of my non racing highlights of RR VI, was crashing a Porsche party at the Monterey Plaza Spa and Hotel. Bruce Wing and I drank some courage at the lobby bar, threw our shoulders back and with a smile waltzed right in. A who's who of Drivers, Engineers and Personalities awaited. Hans was chilling by the railing with a fraulein. Turned out she was a translator. She came in handy after we all said PROST!!
RIP Hans......
