Colored Smoke from Kumho Tire

A friend of mine at Kumho Tire forwarded me some pictures of a new tire compound that makes colored smoke during a drift.

I'm not sure how to upload a picture but I have some pic's if anyone wants to see them.

Sorry, Tim but if you saw that one of the most popular drifters is a Japanese Silvia. Yes some of the succcessful driters are big torque engines like the GTO or Viper, but RX7 & 8, Honda S2000 and even some front wheel drive cars are popular. It is drifting when done correctly.

Nope. Gotta disagree with you there. Drifting is when all 4 wheels are straight ahead and the car is finishing a sideways slide onto a straightaway. If you look at these cars who claim to be drifting, you'll always see some counter-steering going on, which means they are in an "over steering" condition and not a 4 wheel drift. You'll also almost always hear lots of throttle and wheel spin, hence my label- "power sliding."
