Laguna Seca Hotels/Trailer

Most people attending an event at Laguna Seca, probably stay the Sunday night due to the longer distance home.
For those that trailer your car, what have you done with it on Sunday night - Do you ask the track if you can leave it there or have you found a "trailer friendly" hotel?

We actually drove two hours south to Morro Bay and stayed Sunday night in a motel. Managed to find a spot to park the SUV and trailer rig (the street will also work in a pinch for overnight). Another option is to find a campsite with long enough pads to pull the whole rig in (like North Beach Campground at Pismo Beach). That way it breaks-up the drive, you can relax on Monday morning, and you can time your "crossing" of L.A. to avoid the worst traffic periods. If you like to camp, Pismo is actually a nice place to visit for a couple of days...

The track will let you store your rig overnight for $25. Ask to talk to the track manager sometime on Sunday.
