Time to say, Adios! (and come get my stuff)

Hey Folks,

I'm sad to say that Katrin and I are accelerating our (semi)retirement, and moving up to Olympia, WA at the end of the month. I'm all virtual, all the time, and her psychology practice has also gone online, so no reason to keep the office. It was always the plan, as we have kids and family living there already, but the world has changed, and we are changing with it.

I will miss this club as much as anything in San Diego, especially the members of the racing fraternity who made me feel welcome and were so generous with time and advice as I started to figure out the line (and occasionally found it). Many thanks all! Not giving up the track though... as this place is about 30 minutes from Oly:

https://www.ridgemotorsportspark.com/road-course

As is so often the case though, it turns out I've got a bunch of Porsche stuff that I don't need to move... so please check the classified ads for lots of FREE or cheap bits that I'd love for someone in the club to enjoy. Stuff like:

https://pcasdr.org/classifieds/

Set of OZ Allegritta HLT 18's for 996, and probably others ($800/obo)
New 987 Boxster Mats (Grey, Free)
Moch-1 Speaker Enclosure (Free)

GONE: Set of Replica Sport Techno Wheels w/ RE-71-r Gone!
GONE :Set of used Michelin PS2: GONE!
GONE: 911 Rear Seat Delete Locking Parcel Shelf Gone!
GONE: Portable Craftsman Floor Jack: Gone!
GONE: Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R 225/50/16 Gone!

As usual, I've managed to leave this until the last minute... so stuff's gotta go by 8/30. If any of this is of interest, please don't hesitate!

Again, thanks for everything... this is a GREAT club!

So long, and thanks for all the fish ;-)

Aw, man. I'm going to miss hanging out with you at events.
Godspeed in your next adventure. :)
Thanks for your help. It was great to have you as an instructor.

Hey Charles, good luck in Olympia. I'll miss seeing you at PCA events and running in to you around SD in general.

Hey Charles,

Sorry to see you and Katrin leaving but we are all facing what our new normal will be.
Those are some great deals you have listed and I would come and get them all if I wasn't in the middle of purging myself!
Safe travels and let us know how the Porsche scene is in Washington after you have settled in.

Hey Folks,

Thanks for all the nice thoughts -- you rock! I'm sure I'll be around town of and on and will try to attend any events happening at the time. Super bummed to miss Big Willow, and maybe an East lot AX or two!

Much of the stuff has beens spoken for, but still a couple left -- if you need wheels, mats, or a speaker enclosure, lemme know!

Take care,
Charles

Charles, sorry to see you go.

Good luck to you and Katrin in the great Pacific Northwest.

You will be missed here in SD.

Best of luck to you guys Charles.

We definitely had some fun

I'm not far behind you, relocating to Austin in a few months.
I am hoping the Austin PCA is even half a good as PCASDR
On the bright side, COTA is a local track
