Thanks for putting on a great weekend guys! It was hot @ 95F both days but bearable due to low humidity and clear skies. Fabulous connecting with old friends and I... So... needed... to... shred... some... tires!

I think we're going to need multiple John Deere awards, some of the offs were pretty epic. :D
I swear, a couple cars drove all the way up to Buttonwillow to go off.
Great weekend.
Keep the shiny side up :)

I was just happy that all 4 wheels stayed on my car. One in a row at Big Willow!

Thanks so much to Mark, Greg, Steve, Ralph, and others who may have helped out behind the scenes for all the hard work to get us driving again!!!!!

Thanks also to all my fellow drivers for keeping it safe and fun! :beerchug:

Hope to see you in a few weeks at CVR!

Great event, thanks to our awesome volunteers who make this possible. Truly appreciated! Team Vollig certainly qualified for any off roading awards in consideration. As well as for most high speed tire failures. Fred has a brand new tire go in turn 8 and I had one go at the apex of 9 causing a pretty epic 720 spin where the lexan windshield blew off. Recovered the windshield and only dropped one wheel in the dirt.

Team Vollig is now leading in the John Deere Championship point series, outperforming Team SG who usually provides a rather spectacular showing. Two more weekends are left to determine the winner with a final at Buttonwillow which always seems to bring out the excellent plowing skills of the Future Farmers of America. Somebody will need to buy a lot of hats this year. :D
