You got that backwards, Bill. It's the 944s that complain about the 911s. :D Just look what has happened in G class over the last year, and what is proposed for next year. All the 911s will be kicked out so that 944s have TWO spec classes to run in.

The only thing we 911 guys complain about with the 944s is that they don't have to spend as much money to go faster! :P

Oh sure, pick on the weekest of the 944 flock. Let see what Mikes 944T does with your REAL Porsche's. 8)

Do REAL Porsches ever get Top Time of Day? Seems it is either watercooled or a 914, never a real Porsche :P .

Gee, its a slow day and inquring minds want to know. I looked at the 2004-2005 Time Trial top ten times by model type and came up with the following results for 7 events:

Model Top 10s As %
911 52 74%
914 10 14%
944 6 9%
x/986 2 3%

Ok so the 911s include the occassional GT3. I'd say the 911 is fairly well represented.

Let the whinning begin

Hey, Tim started it, we're just gonna finish it....

Oh Brother..., how many times were you right behind Steve's TTOD (2nd overall) , while JGW's and his 500hp turbo was in the mix , hey tough guy??

I really don't recall a 914 with a 2.7L motor...He's driving a mid engined , tube frame 911....

I think the 'gulf" is between your ears young man...........Ohhhhhh!
It ain't the hp you need to worry about with the 944-spec cars. It's the fact that we don't slow down for the turns. If we run the bus stop, you're dead meat. :P
