Service at Porsche San Diego or Carlsbad

I'm looking to bring my car in for a break-in oil service as the oil is at the minimum reading. I figured instead of adding some oil, I might as well do an oil service. I'm at a little over 4000 after coming back from driving to Werks Reunion.

I'm also looking to do an alignment while it's in there as it looks like it might be off just a smidge.

Is there a service advisor and technician that is recommended from the PCA-SDR group to use? I'm closer to Miramar but if there is someone in Carlsbad that I just have to use, then I'm willing to make the drive.

If you are in Miramar, Adam Gill at Vollig Autowerks will do a great job. He is a PCA-SDR sponsor and takes care of many member cars. At Porsche Carlsbad, ask for Jeff Correll or Sal and tell them I sent you! I've been taking my cars there since 2014.

None of our various Porsches over the years ever used any oil (owner's manual suggestion "normal to use oil" notwithstanding). You have a new car that got to the "add" mark?? Weird. I vote for Sal at Hoehn.

IMO you'll get better service there than at a dealer.

I'm curious, how do you determine that your alignment is off a "smidge"?
are you referring to center steering wheel position?

Thank you for the feedback. I already made an appt for Monday and I'll see what they say and go from there. Usually, I've had good interactions when taking my car to the dealer for service and since this is my first Porsche, I'd like to give it go but if things go sideways, I'll at least have Adam or Sal as a backup.

It does seem odd that I need to add oil after a little over 4000 miles but it seems that this isn't out of the ordinary as least from people responding on RL. My exhaust tips seem to be looking good so I don't think it's a bad sign.

My alignment is off as I'm not tracking straight. Don't know about the toe, camber, caster and such since I didn't take any measurements. I'll let the dealer check it and tell me how bad it is coming from the factory but it pulls a smidge to the left.
