Thanks to all the volunteers for a great event.

It might have been the best weekend, weather-wise, I've ever had at Buttonwillow.

My 2nd timed run on Saturday:

Have a lot of video of cars dusting the track ahead of me. Some of those will show up later. I never even dropped a wheel all weekend.

This was a great session! Did you really not drop a wheel all weekend? Who are you and what did you do with Mark Rondeau

Here is my 2:08.95 in sunday timed runs, I will dig up my 2:08.6 from practice at some point, as well as compile some footage playing with Mark Rondeau, and an earlier session chasing Steve G around in his 968. Epic weekend everyone!

Sunday timed run, feedback appreciated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R6Op4SwZ_c

https://youtu.be/H9x2jN3tZes Timed Runs including outlap. Amazing consistency from me last weekend: 2:13.23 and 2:13.21 but I was just informed Russell had exactly the same time both laps, so he gets the consistency award.
I appreciate any feedback, as the competition in CC07 shows there's still lots of time on the table.

(Got some tips from one of my competitors, see the following instructional video of the Cotton Corners: https://youtu.be/3FMw5-JJrGw )

Thank you to all the fast guys who put up their videos

Kudos to all the vids posted. Luv it! In particular Eric's instructional of Cotton's!

Speaking of Cotton's, I've tried different ways to enter with varying degrees of success. It may be worth it for some....

At the end of the straight don't downshift, after hard braking, trail into the first semi early right hander. After the apex/ gator with the car straight downshift there. Giving up the left hander and staying to the left as far as possible. Setting up a better angle coming over the hill.....

At times when it goes well, the car is more settled.....

How did you manage to not coat every inch of your interior in Buttonwillow brown?
You almost had it, you were understeering on the track out but you lifted and it spun. A little more unwind and throttle might have allowed you to recover.
