I seem to remember that when SDR visited SOW in 2019 ? 2020? people were unhappy with the track surface.
One well known competitor said something like, "I'm not going back to that POS until they fix it".
Have they fixed it??

There are some videos on YouTube, it looks really nice.
It doesn't look like they repaved the skid pad but everything else looks great.

Until they plow it and build a new track, I'll always hate it.

I drove it back in October post re-pave in a BMW M2CS Racing. The track is very smooth and very fast. high 1:17s and low 1:18s in a ~CC14/15 car. Theres no holes, no cracks, and they also seem to have leveled the run off since I went flying off turn 1 backwards at ~120mph and didnt rip the splitter off the car. I originally said I would never run streets again, but I will go back since the re-pave is that good.

It's cold, windy, rhythmless and the track you really want to be on is just behind you when you're in the paddock. No thanks.
