Bill - New track for me too and lots of good competion in KP & elsewhere. KP will have most of the usual suspects - Bob, Martin, you, & Jad. Rumor has it that Burl has now located a Starbucks nearby and will be there.

Steve - I think your car has a very nice, er ....patina as the concourse guys call it.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can squeeze into KP? I mean after all we are all in the same race class, so why not be in the same TT class? I think I can bring in a 2:07 or better. I KNOW I'm faster than Jim Copp.

Wadda you guys say we add a little excitement to event? Let's see how competitive you really are. Just for the fun of it, check the race rules to see which "Big Track" class you should be in. Then we'll see how we all REALLY match up. You aren't afraid of a little friendly competition, are you?

Race classes

Postby Greg Phillips on Tue May 24, 2005 3:22 pm

Yes, Bill Ibbetson's 968 gets to move down to F class and beat up on us poor defenseless J class cars.
The Boxters S and K class 944 Turbo S and RSA/C2's are in E class. Although the full lighweight RSA's are in D.
Carl Scragg's Euro Carrera gets bumped up to E also
But Doug Kott's 944S2 stays in E class  along with Otto's 944T

See how much fun it would be?

Although, I'd be willing to bet that most of the K class RSA's and 964's have a lightweight flywheel. Lightweight flywheel = production modification = move up one class.

No Martin, stripped to the bone does not make it "bone stock".

It is not Martin's fault that English is his second (fifth?) language
Idioms are very confusing :D
