Looking for a Chuckwalla cabin for October

New to SDR and did not realize I should have jumped on reserving one as soon as the schedule was announced. Please let me know if you decide to cancel on your cabin - I will be more than happy to take over the cost. My snoring is a registered weapon so I don't think sharing a cabin will work for anyone. I did look briefly into renting an RV but having one delivered makes the cost prohibitive so I will likely take the Saturday night camping route. If anyone has any info on camping that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance, John A.

John,
Call the track and put your name on the wait list.
There are often very late cancellations; like as late as Friday afternoon.
On the bright side CVR can be very nice to camp at in October.
Also the 50 minute trek into town for a hotel is not that bad.

Good luck and see you at the track.
