Detailing recommendations?

Postby paul-silver on Mon May 23, 2005 4:20 pm

Can someone recommend a good place for detailing?
I'm looking for a place that will do more than wash and wax, that will also do a clay treatment, polishing, etc.

It would be especially nice if the place was reasonably priced... :)

Paul:

Here is a place that comes highly recommended to me by a bunch of my BMW friends. I have been meaing to try them and will probably take my car in this week. They are supposedly very very good and reasonably priced. The shop is off Miramar and is called Detail Works Inc. their number is 858-689-8989.

I used them a couple times a few years ago and they did very good work. Since I am mostly a "patina" guy like Steve G., my detailing experiences are pretty limited, though.... :D

Paul:

Try American Made Auto Detailing. They're a mobile-detailing company that does it all. Prices are reasonable, and they'll do what you ask, not tell you what you need. 619-887-7676. Brandon McIntyre.

Good luck!
