Oh my! A top ten for Jerry Bumpus in a Cayenne SUV.

Amazing driving! Has that ever happened before at a SDR AX?

That's really cool. It looks like the SUV class was first recognized in 2019.
For the first time, Mr. Bumpus entered the SUV class at the Sep 2023 event.
He's the first SUV driver to get into top ten at an autocross.

He was happy with a practice time 0:58.x but 0:57.62 is awesome. Great driving!

I got an unofficial third at an AX about ten years ago. It was POURING rain, full send sideways into the flooded sweeper sent corner workers running from the wake, King Bumpus in the passenger seat laughing like a Hyena.
I wasn't actually entered, and only drove two laps......In my Suburban......
