CHP: New look on their new cars

CHP is rolling out some new color schemes on their latest additions to the fleet, making for some "almost" unmarked patrol cars. Note the internal light bar.

I saw one of the black ones on the highway last week pulling someone over. I had to do a double-take. Be careful out there!

At least they have lettering that you can see and read.
I'm in the Austin TX area and many of the cars are black with dark grey lettering. You can't see "POLICE" until you are right up on them. They call them "Ghost Cars"
Sneaky bastards!

Can't wait until we sell the house here and move back to CA.
