Not sure, but it is currently looking like a family event for me, with my dad, Amy and I all running in the event.

Family events are great! Although I don't think my mom could come out, she's gets mad at my dad and me enough for talking about cars in front of her...

For all of you lovely people planning on attending - pretty, pretty please get your reg forms in as early as possible! :) I'm heading out of town Tuesday through Friday evening, I'd love to have only a few forms waiting to be processed Friday night. As you know, we don't charge your cc/cash your check/collect your first-born if you don't show.

Thanks kindly!

Is it me, or is the Registration Form on the Autocross link messed up?

The addition of 'Transponder #' has shrunk the member number field, and there is no field for event date and payment info.

I guess Registration and Event Pre-Payment are two different forms?

Go to the forms page and click pre-registration form
This is the pre-event payment form-

Yep Mark, it's you

You will notice in the pre-payment form the large, prominent "This is not a PCA-SDR Event Registration Form."

I would like to point out that Mark's attention to detail and ability to fill out a simple form is not representative of the average 914 driver (or even a below average 914 driver.) He chose a short, yellow car because it reminds him of his old school bus.

HEY! I'm only as dumb as the information contained within this website, and the links and subsequent content within this website are referentially contradictory.

If the pre-payment "is not a PCA-SDR Event Registration Form" then how come the link for it under the FORMS link is titled "AX Pre-registration form"?!

(No offense admins :D )

No offense taken. I only maintain the forum anymore so the content is only as dumb as the participants... ;)

I was confused about that also, but I just do what I am told. Maybe the link should be "AX intent-to-register form"?

Mark,
Actually to answer your question "It is you."

You asked what's up with the AX page, so you obviously looked there first.

Here is what it says after pre-pay form:
Autocross Pre-paid Form in PDF Format. You can now select the event you wish to pre-pay for, fill out the form online, print and mail it!.

Now that is pretty self explanatory!

Then under Registration form, is says:
Autocross Registration form in PDF format. You can now fill out the form online and print it! (Note: This form is best displayed using Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or later.)

As only a minor SDR web volunteer I understand how much time is wasted with questions sent to chairs because people don't read this incredible source of information we call pcasdr.org Now don't get me wrong, the chairs are there to answer question and help you enjoy your pcasdr experience, and usually enjoy answering those questions. But a few minutes of surfing here will almost always provide the answer you are looking for, and you get the self-satisfaction of finding it for yourself.

Try surfing around other pca sites looking for active easy to use forums and active fill-in PDF forms. You won't because they are a huge amount of work. We fortunately have a top notch group in our club who say why-not? Instead of why should I?

And thanks for the heads up of the forms page, I am sure that link will be renamed by the end of the weekend.

I am now getting down from my soapbox thank you.
