<<Greetings all, we've got ourselves a 2005 rumble in the making. DEVEK has sponsored a track day for July 1st at Buttonwillow. The 1st day is a Friday, and the entire weekend features open Track time for all DE and race testers.

We'll be playing both Porsche cars and BMW track cars that day. Porsches and BMW track cars at the same time? Oh boy...
Bring your ride of choice, we'll be there Thurs evening and then Friday all day. For those wanting to make a weekend of it (or just a Friday and Saturday), check out link #2...

Could be fun for us Porsche drivers, but there wouldn't be many smiling BMW owner since we will leave them in the dust. We noticed the day before our last TT at Buttonwillow that the BMW's are a bit top heavy

Funny Matin. But BMW Track Cars are pretty darn fast. I was able to keep up with some of the slower ones in the BMWCCA race last year at Fontana. Good cars and good drivers. Of course the Porsche's still won the race outright, but they were quite a bit quicker than mine.

Mike,

Looks like you are right, they are not that slow (hmmm, similar times to ours). I just checked some times on http://mylaps.com to compare with ours at Fontana and Buttomwillow.

Still they are not Porsche's and I rather like to see them in my mirrors
