Pioneer Centres picnic saturday!

Postby Chris Huck on Tue Jul 19, 2005 5:55 pm

It's a last minute thing, but anyone not doing the "Other Car Concours / Chili Cookoff" is invited to join Pioneer Centres for a mid day picnic catered by Hunter Steakhouse and to come see the 1958 Porsche Tractor on temporary display.

Bring your friends!

9020 Miramar Rd, SD 858-695-3000

That event is showing as "CANCELLED" on the website Schedule page.

Chris,
Thanks for the invite. I'll bring the wife and both kids around noon. Never too early to indoctrinate them with the love of Porsche. Been a while since I've been in the dealership. Looks great from the outside as I'm zipping by. :D

Chris,
That was a class act yesterday. Dealership looked great. Clean and orderly. Good food from Hunter's Steak House as well. I loved the artwork showing the old 550's and RSK's. That really helps to tie in the history/source of the lines shown in the new boxsters.
My son Garrison liked the cars, too. He took one of your business cards and said he'd be back in 20 years..............
In the meantime, he couldn't resist sticking his finger up the exhaust pipe of the Porsche-designed tractor. That's when he learned to pronounce the word, "soot."
Thanks again,
Tim
