MAX, MAX track time at Willow

With only 41 drivers, I have 17 each in Red and Orange and 7 in Orange. My plan at this point, barring any objections or huge last minute enrollments, is to allow Red and Orange drivers to drive in either run group under those groups rules. Red allows passing in T2 and 8, in addition to straights.

So if for some reason, 2.5 hours on Saturday and 100 minutes on Sunday is not enough for you, you can drive more. This also allows a little more flexibility in driving when you are ready.

Weather looks good. 70s...at night. Bring shade, sunscreen, cool suit (the best $300 you'll ever spend in this sport), and drinks. 8)

Bring a friend!

Sounds great, Jack. I'll be there working with John Rickard and I've told all the other 944 spec guys to use the weekend for testing.

Tim, I got a fax (but not registration) from a Rob Hass saying something about coming to Willow, but it was not very clear. He mentioned your name. Do I know him?

  Wow! with that much track time, and possible instructing, some guys are really going to have a workout! Sorry I can't make it. (Status of the Great White Water Bucket : sitting in about 20-pieces at mechanic's shop. Bad news: head gasket, valves, guides, seals and such ..... gone. Good news: parts are in, assembly to start (hopefully) this week.)

You guys have fun, take spare race tires and lots of water to drink! I look forward to hearing the stories ( spelled .. excuses!) When you all return.
