Went there and had a great time...missed lots of the regulars, tho Mike D, Behr, Evan, John P and Jr. John P were in attendance.
Here's the proof:

There's 1 bad word in the song...not too loud if the kids are in the room.

Nice short cut on the cork-screw

I assumed you timed the "bad word" for that part of the video....

Looks like great fun.

Ya Think... :D

Greg and I had a great battle...I spent half the race watching he and Behr capitalizing on my mistakes. Greg got around me but seemed like he wanted to give it back

JIm, for whatever the reason most of the videos you post will not stream right at either my work or home PC's. They continue with the audio but the video just stops and does freeze frame snaps along the way.

I can watch it fine at home, but I have the same problem @ work...home is cable and work is DSL. The DSL needs to be cranked up to like 500 kb/s

Great video. Cutting corners doesn't work as well as it does at Qualcomm....

Nice. I like your line through the corkscrew  was that faster? ;)

I'll see if I can't get my 4 laps posted at some point.

Anytime you straighten out a corner its faster  Tho I wouldn't reccommend it...next year let's take the dually out and try it again!

Jim,

Great video clip. That was a bit of a shortcut at the corkscrew!

Hey Jimbo,
Don't remember you mentioning the corkscrew shortcut at the track!! Nice!!
Why so much video of #5 and none of #9?
I know, your "shortcuts" kept you away from #9 and took you directly back to #5?
For all who weren't there, it was an excellent event. Great track, no carnage in our run group, great barbecue and martini/margarita bar (after hours, of course), $85,000+ raised for Make-A-Wish, and we even had time for the 17 Mile Drive and Pebble beach afterwards!
The only major pain: the Monterey County noise Gestapos who busted me twice (3 times and you're out for the whole event), so it was impossible after that to be flat out from #5 to #6 which you need to be to run a decent time. However, I'd go back in a second (with a muffler, next time). Wouldn't you, Jim? PCA needs an event there!!

Not one of my better moments...but fun none the less :?

Cuz that's where I kept getting hammered...@ 9, I was usually drag racing to catch up to the next guy by #11

Yes I would...PCA GGR (Golden Gate Region) runs a club race there most years...hard to get in tho. I don't think they could get the date this year cuz of the safety improvements (of which I partook  ). BTW...I really like how they moved the bridge in 9...for some reason it just seemed faster, instead of using the bridge piling as an apex marker. Good Times for sure!

Dunno...1st time I'd seen that car...looks like the 911 design w/ the roof scoop. Whoever it was said they'd gone 19 yrs w/o an accident. Very sad :bigcry:
