No excuses just facts....Its simple, Jad can't beat me at ax and I (for now) can't beat him on... long straights...

However, as this is getting old....can you see this coming Dan??

Following is the list of significant historic wins by 944's...

I think I'll keep it at 65 MPH until the price goes down.... (Could be a long wait, though)

Sorry Dan, you're not going to get much sympathy from me. I filled up my pickup a few days ago @ 3:05 per gal. for a grand total of $192 and some change :bigcry: . If Kary's right, the next one will cost over $250. A monthly Coaster pass for $144 is bargin!!!

It's always interesting when.......

Cute, DanA. Now, for the answer:

Significant? Yea, I'd say for me, and the others in GSS for 2003. Top 5 places in GSS, in 2003 were .... 944N/A.

"Significant" is a subjective definition.

(Sometimes, the best way to avoid getting deeper in the whole, is to simply stop digging. )

Now, let's let back to the gasoline issue, hmmm?

So uh... yeah... gas is expensive.

Dan C,
I like how you keep comparing the displacement of a turbo motor to a naturally aspirated motor? Hilarious.

Plug this into your calculator.

In stock form, Jads car is putting more horsepower to the rear wheels than Dan and is putting way more to the wheels than my hamster-powered 2.9.

Jads car has wider tires than us.

Jads car has a substantially more advanced suspension than ours.

Jads car has a 50/50 weight balance.

Jads car has ABS and he kills us under braking.

What am I trying to say? How did Jad somehow get the role of underdog in this competition?

The ONLY thing we have over any of the KP cars is lighter weight. That's it. It helps, but it can't overcome every other aspect of our cars being weaker......

Dang Jad and Bill have a groupie in the club. I'm sure when they envisioned the groupies they would have as race car drivers, they weren't 6' something dudes with shaved heads. At least I hope that's not what they envisioned. :D :D

DanC I am not sure what pulling up the data from 03 proves. Unless you compare it to more useless data:

2003 FSS GSS

[Becker Walker Burch][Chambers Torbert-Hayes McLaughlin]

3/09 117.02 118.78 120.25 121.16 123.2 121.63
3/29 100.87 102.87 104.92 105.86 105.07
4/19 90.01 89.25 91.85 90.76 93.6 92.78
5/24 101.13 101.6 102.93 104.09
7/26 118.69 119.73 121.52 124.24 125.94
8/24 89.35 90.59 90.95 90.99
10/12 83.46 84.1 84.65
11/08
77.19 78.27 79.34 81.46 80.7

Significant in another way when compared to old stock 911's.

Filled up for 2.94 yesterday in Pt. Loma. $28.95 total. It pays to drive small.

Because everyone knows that ANY 911 is THE best... well second best car Porsche ever made (second only of course to the Boxster S ;)). Come on Curt, you knew that.

And do ya think Dan A. envisoned someone other than.... well... you? ;)

Nothing personal Curt, I just gotta let 'em out when they come to me ;)

Just be glad that I don't let them out when they come to me. I have about 13 filters I run my snappy comebacks through before they reach this message board.

And Gary.... congrats on that freaking b'yatch slapping. I heard that smack from 90 miles away. But is it really smack when it is painfully true? Awesome.

Fargin' iceholes............
This has nothing to do with the cost of gas, but........................
(man, you guys need to get to a track soon!)
One of our little normally aspirated 944 spec cars was punishing Martin's C2 at Buttonwillow. Martin was actually crying in his helmet. I saw it myself............
