Where does a 3.2 conversion fall in the points break?

I have a 1982 911SC which was stock a 3.0. Prior to my purchase it was converted to a 3.2 with new pistons and cylinders. I think that is a 6.25% change in displacement . Am I right? If so this would add only 4 pts for Engine displacement increase and put me in IS. I am trying to figure this out for tomorrows autocross. It really doesn't matter that much as I am just starting and am just hoping to not embarrash myself to much, but I would like to get it right the first time.

It according to my math is a 6.66% change still less then 10%

That is correct, you can go up to 3.3L and are under the 10% rule

Engine displacement increase: 3% to 10% 4

10% to 20% 8

20% to 30% 10

30% to 40% 12

Over 40% 14

But remember Mahle 98mm kits usually have higher compression, especially if it is a 78-79 SC. Compression is another 5 points.

It is an AMD kit which to my knowledge does not have high compression.

That is a very nice 4-point upgrade to a 911SC which should give you some very nice pull out of the corners.
